This conference is organised by the Hong Kong GIS Association (HKGISA) and co-organized by the Asia GIS Association (AGISA) and the International Geographical Union (IGU) Commission on Geographic Information Science. The Asia GIS Conference was first held in Hong Kong in 1994. Since then, it has been held in Bangkok, Taipei, Tokyo, Wuhan, Johor Bahru, Busan, Kaohsiung, and Chiang Mai. It is being held in Hong Kong again after 32 years.
New Advances in GIS technology is a premier international conference spotlighting the latest breakthroughs in geospatial science, land surveying, remote sensing and AI technology. The conference brings together professional experts, government leaders and practitioners from institutions, government, and industry to share cutting-edge research, real-world applications, and visionary roadmaps.
